The short version

• No account or sign-in is required.
• The app has no developer-operated backend, advertising, analytics, or cross-app tracking.
• Your profile, training plan, set logs, and personal records stay in the app's private storage.
• Apple Health access is optional and is used only for the workout features described below.
• Plan generation and adaptation run locally, and nothing is sent to an AI service.

Information stored on your devices

The app stores the information you provide during setup, including an optional name, age, height, weight, training experience, goal, weekly availability, available equipment, movement limitations, and starting lift numbers. It also stores your generated program, logged sets, weights, repetitions, reps in reserve, rest times, completed workouts, personal records, and app settings.

This information is kept in the app's private storage on your iPhone and paired Apple Watch. Apple may include app data in an encrypted device or iCloud backup when you enable those backup features. The developer cannot access those backups.

Apple Health

Apple Health access is optional. The app remains usable if you decline permission, although Health and Apple Watch workout features will be limited.

• On iPhone, the app can read recent workout history so Health workouts can appear alongside workouts logged in the app.
• When you choose to save a completed workout, the app can write a Traditional Strength Training workout to Apple Health, including its timing and workout summary.
• During an Apple Watch workout, the Watch app reads heart rate and active energy to show live training statistics. Apple Health may store those metrics with the workout. Earned does not copy them to analytics or a developer server.

Health information is never used for advertising or sold. You can review or revoke access at any time in Apple Health or iOS Settings. Health records already saved to Apple Health remain there until you delete them in the Health app.

Apple Watch, Watch Connectivity, and Live Activities

If you use the Apple Watch app, the weekly plan and workout progress move directly between your paired iPhone and Apple Watch using Apple's Watch Connectivity technology. Live Activities use current workout details already on your device to show set progress and rest timing on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island. These features do not send data to the developer.

Plan generation and adaptation

The app builds and adapts training plans on your device using the profile and workout information stored there. This release contains no active AI-service connection, and no profile, workout, or Health information is sent to an AI provider.

Collection, sharing, and retention

The developer does not collect, receive, sell, rent, or share personal information from this version of the app. Because the developer does not receive your data, there is no developer-side profile or training history to retain or delete.

Your controls and deletion

• Delete individual training sessions from workout history in the app.
• Change your profile and training settings from the You tab.
• Revoke Apple Health access in Apple Health or iOS Settings.
• Delete the app to remove its locally stored profile, plan, logs, and settings from that device.
• Delete workouts written to Apple Health separately in the Health app.

Age and health guidance

Earned is intended for adults age 18 and over and is not directed to children. Its training guidance is general fitness information, not medical advice or a substitute for care from a qualified professional. Consult a physician before beginning a new exercise program and stop if something feels wrong.

Changes to this policy

If the app's data practices change, this page will be updated with a new effective date. Any material change involving data leaving your device will also be disclosed in the app before it takes effect.
